Exploring the State of Leonida
The state of Leonida is Rockstar Games' largest open-world creation to date. Spanning the neon-lit urban strips of Vice City Beach, the commercial shipping docks of Port Gellhorn, industrial chop shops, and the swampy mangrove waterways of the Everglades, the interactive cartography map below tracks verified coordinate locations for story missions, safehouses, weapon pickups, and hidden collectibles across every confirmed region.
GTA 6's Leonida map is divided into several distinct regions, each with unique gameplay characteristics, law enforcement behavior, and economic opportunities:
- Vice City (Urban Core): The main metropolitan area featuring Ocean Drive, Vice City Beach, the downtown financial district, and Little Havana. This is where most story missions, nightclub businesses, and high-end vehicle dealerships are concentrated.
- Port Gellhorn: A gritty industrial port city north of Vice City. Home to shipping container operations, smuggling routes, and warehouse heist locations. Law enforcement presence is heavy around the commercial docks.
- The Everglades (Grassrivers): A vast swampland region featuring mangrove forests, alligator-infested waterways, and isolated rural communities. The Everglades offer hidden drug lab locations, airboat races, and wilderness survival challenges far from police presence.
- The Florida Keys: A chain of tropical islands south of Leonida connected by causeways. Features luxury marinas, deep-sea fishing, and exclusive resort properties that can be purchased as legitimate business fronts.
- Ambrosia: A suburban sprawl between Vice City and Port Gellhorn, featuring strip malls, residential neighborhoods, and the Leonida State Fairgrounds — a location for street racing events and demolition derbies.
Map Features and Navigation Tips
The interactive map above supports filtering by category including story mission markers, collectible locations (50 Leonida Memorabilia, 30 Everglades Stashes), Ammu-Nation stores, Pay 'n' Spray locations, safehouses, and unique stunt jump ramps. Use the search function to find specific landmarks by name. During gameplay, learning the map layout manually is critical — the in-game GPS can lead you into police roadblocks during high-speed chases, so memorizing alternative escape routes through alleys and backroads gives you a significant advantage.
