All the Leaked Music & Radio Stations Confirmed in GTA 6 So Far
Rockstar has never confirmed a full GTA 6 radio station lineup, but between the trailers, leaked gameplay footage, and datamined files circulating since the leak wave documented in our report on the stolen build leaks, fans have pieced together a partial picture of what will play when you're cruising down Leonida's highways.
Here's what has surfaced across multiple sources:
Trailer confirmed tracks: Both Trailer 1 and Trailer 2 featured licensed music that strongly hints at genre direction. Tom Petty's "Love is a Long Road" appeared in the first trailer, setting a nostalgic, sun-bleached tone that echoes Vice City's original 1980s aesthetic while grounding the game in a modern era.
Leaked audio files: Dataminers who dug through the leaked build (the same one referenced in our piece on the CyberLeek gameplay leak) found references to multiple station IDs in the game's file structure. While full track lists remain incomplete, the file naming conventions suggest Rockstar is building out at least eight to ten distinct stations, consistent with the scale of GTA 5's audio catalog.
Genre spread: Based on trailer needle drops and leaked snippets, the confirmed genre spread so far includes:
- Latin trap and reggaeton, reflecting Vice City's Cuban and Caribbean influenced population
- Classic rock and Southern rock, tying into the rural Leonida Keys and swampland areas
- Modern hip-hop and trap, likely anchoring a station similar to The Lab or Blue Ark from GTA 5
- Electronic and house music, expected to power nightclub scenes given the strip club and nightlife systems detailed in our property and business guide
No confirmed DJ hosts: Unlike GTA 5's Bassist Radio Host or the Kult FM banter of GTA 4, no radio host names or voice actors have leaked yet. This is notable because Rockstar typically records and finalizes DJ dialogue extremely late in development, so its absence from leaks isn't surprising.
Talk radio and satire: Weazel News and West Coast Talk Radio style shows have not been directly confirmed, but Rockstar has never released a mainline GTA without political and cultural satire baked into talk stations. Expect this to return given the studio's continued commitment to social commentary, something they've leaned into further based on patterns from the NPC AI leak coverage.
